The Essence of the Nile

Located in the Clos Archaeological Foundation, its aim is to promote awareness of the art and culture of Ancient Egypt.

This collection of Egyptian art, which belongs to Jordi Clos, includes some 1,000 pieces from the time of the Egyptian pharaohs, and offers a journey through the different periods of one of the most prolific and mysterious civilisations of ancient times. The 2,000 square-metre facility comprises three museum rooms, five training rooms, a temporary exhibition hall and a specialised library. Visitors will find everyday items (crafts and cosmetic items), as well as items that are connected with beliefs and funeral practices.
