Located in a modernist-style building dating from the late 19th/early 20th century, the museum has three floors for its archaeological and ethnographic collections. Of special interest are items from the early prehistoric and Neolithic periods, from the areas of Fuente de Isso and Pedernaloso, as well as tools and remains from the Bronze Age (El Castellón) and from the Phoenician (Los Almadanes), Iberian and Roman eras.
