In 1992, the facilities of this greenhouse were opened to the public. It contains nearly 1,200 plant species belonging to 100 families, divided into four areas: subtropical, tropical I and tropical II, and cacti and succulents, with rare specimens and an outstanding orchid collection. The itineraries are very well organised, and a brochure provides assistance in locating plants.
