This is one of Spain's biggest festivals and is a worldwide reference for folk music. It is a free, open-air festival in Ortigueira, in the province of A Coruña (Galicia), focusing on Celtic sounds, that attracts thousands of people each year.

The festival began in 1978. Since then it has gained more and more international renown and prestige, becoming a summer event not to be missed. Apart from Celtic music, you can also hear other folk and traditional rhythms on the festival's various stages. This festival brings together established stars and new artists, and is rounded off with a series of parallel activities including photography exhibitions, craft fairs, dance workshops, marching bands and street entertainment.
