Doñana National Park is the ideal place to discover a unique natural space in an exciting and adventurous way. Once there, you can take a guided tour in an off-road vehicle through 70 kilometres of dunes, pine forests, marshes and unspoilt beaches at low tide. You can also explore part of the Park on horseback, riding along endless beaches, hiking or bicycle riding. You will find information on possible routes in the Park’s six visitor centres.
A very special time for a visit to the Park is during the El Rocío Pilgrimage, a procession in which thousands of pilgrims journey on horseback or in decorated carts to the village of El Rocío through part of the Doñana National Park. A genuinely festive occasion which attracts large crowds of people, and involves frequent stops along the way for drinks and dancing to the sound of guitars.
