Cheese from Murcia
- 自治州 :
Cheese from Murcia is a fresh or aged cheese made with pasteurised milk from the 'Murciana' or 'Granadina' breeds of goat.
It is cylindrical in shape and its rind is etched by the band and the cheese shelf. It is available in two sizes: the small one weighs between 300 and 600 grams and the large one between 1.2 and 1.5 kg. It can be oily or extra oily. It is a cheese to be consumed immediately; usually as a dessert, accompanied especially with honey and walnuts.
