概要
This town in the region of Cáceres hosts this well-known annual fixture which has seen participation by numerous prestigious theatre companies over its 30 years of history.
Audiences can enjoy works by the great classic playwrights such as Lope de Vega and Pedro Antonio de Alarcón.
In addition to the performances themselves, the festival offers a whole variety of parallel activities, including soirées, poetry readings, street parades, concerts, markets…
It also has an important educational function, as it schedules programmes of events featuring participation by actors, directors and producers, who divulge to the public all the secrets of the performing arts.
