This circular path passes various Romanesque churches and chapels.
Some of them are of great architectural value, such as San Jaime de Frontanyà, declared a National Monument,La Quar, a pre-Romanesque chapel and the also Romanesque Sant Romà de la Clusa. It runs through large pine and beech forests.
The path, now known as the GR 241, used to be a variant of the GR 4, the GR 4.1.
