Located on the Costa Brava in the province of Girona, the natural setting of the bay of Roses -with its numerous beaches, coves and cliffs– is a fantastic place for water sports. It is located between two nature reserves of great ecological value: Aiguamolls de l’Empordá and Cap de Creus. The bay is practically totally enclosed; its marine resort has a marina with 485 moorings, and offers the chance to enjoy a whole variety of activities. Cap de Creus also has an outstanding underwater environment which is especially attractive to scuba-diving fans. In addition to the sports on offer, there are other interesting features such as Roses' important cultural Greek and Roman heritage.
