Age-old trades

The museum has been housed in this old Hospital building belonging to the Order of Santiago since 1996.

The various rooms contain ethnographic exhibits from the A Limia region, mostly donated by local residents. There are recreations of the region’s most important crafts and trades, and there are photographs, maps, and reconstructions of traditional homes and rural life. It also has a functioning crafts workshop and specialist library.
