Opened in May 2008, the CA2M Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo houses the contemporary art collection of the Madrid Region, comprising some 1,700 works.

Its aim is to make the most current art available to the public, with its permanent collection and programme including exhibitions, research and activities. This way the CA2M Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo carries out its commitment to contemporary creation, offering proposals that go beyond visual art, including films, music, literature, design and performing arts.
