A Renaissance-style building, commissioned by Don Francisco Sotomayor y Zúñiga in the 16th century. It has the appearance of a fortress, with round turrets and towers on each corner. Inside it holds a wide courtyard surrounded by four walls. Two of these walls are divided in two levels lined by galleries with arches that rest on Ionic columns. On the third we have the staircase that provides access to the courtyard from the noble chambers. The last wall is bare, except for the coats of arms of Zúñiga and Sotomayor. At present, this building houses a Middle School.
