Fabada
A typically Asturian dish, made with white beans, and pork products like salted ear, chorizo and morcilla (which are collectively known as <i>compango</i>). The beans used for <i>fabada</i> are known as <i>fabes</i>. They are white, cook very well, and have a delicious taste that absorbs the flavours of all the other ingredients in the pot.
