Majorca, a luxury island
The luxury and class so characteristic of Majorca will dazzle you, as it has done the film stars and top-ranking royals who have a home here. This is an island where you can stay in hotels which are not only exclusive, they also each have their own special charm: a restored 18th century convent where you can enjoy wonderful spa facilities and play tennis; or a palace in the centre of Palma de Mallorca with magnificent views over the Cathedral and the bay. What’s more, you will discover a whole host of exclusive shops in this city (located in the Plaza Weyler, Calle Unió and Avenida Jaume III) to make shopping here a genuine treat.
Majorca is the largest of the Balearics. In addition to its beaches, the island’s interior has exceptionally beautiful scenery. Its greatest heritage is its beautiful landscapes, temperature and light. Practically half the island is a protected area due to its environmental importance.
Majorca is also a natural paradise which can be explored in a number of unique ways: playing golf in its beautifully-kept courses with views over the coast, or renting a luxury boat to take you to secluded coves with their turquoise waters, known to only a few.
