Description

In 1927, Colonel Woevodsky and Dorothy Webster bought the land of their Cap Roig estate and began building a castle and laying out a magnificent park. The work continued until 1974. The terraced garden descends from the castle to the sea. The upper terraces (Nuns' Terraces, Basin Terrace, Lovers' Garden) are connected by the Cypress Stairs, and are strongly architectural. From here, paths continue smoothly down to the sea. This area includes the Spring Garden, the Cactus Garden and the Geranium Walk, with spectacular flowers. In summer, the garden is opened for exhibitions from prestigious Spanish and international artists.
