A selection of works from the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest to be brought to the Thyssen Museum in spring 2017.
Containing more than 60 works from the Hungarian museum’s permanent collection, the selection includes paintings and sculptures from artists such as Hans Memling, Raphael, Dürer, Annibale Carracci, Giovanni Battista Teipolo, Nicolas Poussin and Leonardo Da Vinci, of whom a series of drawings will also be exhibited. The exhibition will thus give visitors the chance to enjoy an overview of the extensive collections of ancient and modern paintings, as well as sculptures, held by the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest.
