Description

This summer has a 'Pop Art' flavour in the Thyssen Museum in de Madrid thanks to an exhibition on this movement featuring famous works by Rauschenberg, Lichtenstein and Hockney.

This selection of over 70 pieces from the Pop Art movement (both British and classic American Pop Art), sets out to review the myths that have traditionally defined Pop, to show that its apparent superficiality conceals an ironic perception of reality. Are you ready to see the source of numerous icons of our time?

You may also be interested to know that the Reina Sofía and the Thyssen Museums offer a joint ticket for admission to their two summer exhibitions: 'Richard Hamilton' and 'Pop Art Myths'.
