Formigal ski resort

The Formigal ski resort is located in the Tena Valley in the centre of the Aragonese Pyrenees, and has made a name for itself as a key destination for winter sports lovers. That's why Formigal continues to invest in innovation and fun in order to offer an even wider variety of activities. What's more, all its main slopes are arranged across four valleys, with access via any of the four entrances to the resort, and with approximately 6000 parking spaces. Each entrance has a beginner's area. What's more, the free Ski-Bus service which links the four entrances of the ski resort with the residential area is a dream come true for every skier: everything the foot of the slopes: you start skiing as soon as you arrive. Formigal also has a heliport in Sextas.

At the resort
Information: four information offices in the areas of Sextas, Anayet and Portalet, and in the town of Formigal.
You can also check the snow forecast and the latest news on all the events and activities taking place in Formigal and the surroundings on a closed-circuit television channel, as well as on the resort's website.

Spanish Ski School in Formigal: over 200 certified professional instructors.
Medical service: on the slopes (rescue teams for slopes in the resort), evacuation teams, fixed and mobile first-aid units, Anayet first-aid centre for minor injuries, Clínica de Sextas clinic (with medical staff specialising in treatment of orthopaedic injuries, equipped with X-ray equipment and specific material for treating sporting injuries), ambulances, and Civil Guard rescue helicopter.
Customers can also subscribe to the Healthcare Service when they buy their forfait.
Equipment rental: in the areas of Sextas, Anayet and Portalet. There are also facilities for renting snow-bikes. Visitors can also rent lockers for storing footwear and ski lockers to make it easier to move around the resort.
Sale of forfaits: all the gates –Sextas, Sarrios, Anayet, and Portalet– have points selling ski passes. What's more, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays there is also an advance sales service in the Sextas building with a free bus service from the town of Formigal. You can also purchase ski passes in Zaragoza, at Plaza Aragon no. 1. Another option is to top up your ski pass over the Internet at www.formigal.com.
Boutiques: there are three boutiques in the resort, in the areas of Anayet, Portalet, and Sextas.
Restaurants on the slopes: the Formigal ski resort offers a wide array of options for visitors: à la carte restaurants, self-service, après ski venues, cafés, hot-chocolate bars, sandwich bars, tapas bar, kebab house, barbecues and vending machines, as well as picnic areas and solarium terraces.
In the surrounding area
There are shops, bars, restaurants, medical services, banks, garages, chemists, taxi services, etc. in all the towns and villages throughout the Tena valley. Pelota and tennis courts in the town of Formigal and in other villages throughout the valley.
