Nature tourism in Spain. Plans for discovering the landscape

We're sure you feel like getting away from the noise and pollution of the city. Why not plan a trip to Spain? There are many stunning places where you can get back to nature. We have lots of ideas that you might like for your "natural holidays". Some of these ideas include visits to well-known nature areas such as the Covadonga Lakes, Las Médulas (open-pit mines that were created in the Roman Empire), the Pyrenees, Picos de Europa Mountains, Riotinto, and the Cíes Islands, to name but a few. You can also find activities in Spain's National Parks (there are 15 altogether and they are all extremely beautiful), and original ideas like doing the Caminito del Rey (which was once considered to be the most dangerous footpath in the world), or discovering unexpected paintings and sculptures in the enchanted forest of Oma or in Las Batuecas Nature Reserve. Want more ideas? Try birdwatching or stargazing, go on a tourist boat and sail through gorges formed by rivers, or explore the Green Routes (old railway lines that have been refurbished). And if you prefer the coast, don't miss the marine reserves. Your lungs and spirit will be refreshed thanks to the fresh air. Just click on the image or the text that you want in order to find more information about each one of these plans.
