The first Marquis of Muni and his brother
This museum is a tribute to the brothers León y Castillo: Fernando, a diplomat and the first Marquis of Muni, and his brother Juan, the engineer who designed the port at Puerto de La Luz.
The museum is located in the house where both brothers were born, which is a fine example of Mudejar architecture on the Canary Islands. Inside you can see personal objects, as well as an important collection of Spanish painting from the 16th-20th centuries, with works by Madrazo and Cusachs. There is also furniture, porcelain items and sculptures by Benlliure.
