This museum is home to Spain’s most important collection of glazed ceramics, dating from the 11th century through to the latest artistic trends. Highlights of the collection include the Medieval pieces, such as bowls and jugs from Teruel and Paterna, in the Mudejar style; also Renaissance and Baroque ceramics from Talavera, Seville, Aragon, Catalonia and Puente del Arzobispo. The collection also features a section on Catalonian ceramics from the 13th century through to the present day. The museum contains works by major contemporary artists, including Serra Fiter, Llorens Artigas, Cumella, Picasso and Miró.
