Bronze Age culture
It is famous for its collections from this period of prehistory.
The museum's collection includes items from the Middle Palaeolithic Era through to the present day and comes largely from archaeological sites such as Millares (Santa Fe de Modújar), El Argar (Antas), Villaricos and Fuente Álamo (Almanzora caves) and El Cerro de Montecristi (Adra), among others. It also has an extensive collection of weapons, pottery and popular costumes.
