Built between the 14th and 15th centuries, it forms part of the mendicant type of church in Galicia. It is Gothic in style and has a Latin cross plan, with a single nave, transept, wooden roof and sanctuary with three polygonal apses, covered with cross vaults. Outside, the outstanding feature is the main façade, with a doorway with pointed archivolts. Inside, the 13th century tomb of the admiral and poet Payo Gómez Chamiro is the outstanding feature.
