Arab fortress, reformed during the XII and XIV centuries.Its military character gives it an austere appearance.Formed by a walled perimeter with quadrangle and one cylinder tower.Accessed through two horseshoe pointed arches, framed in an alfiz.The keep was declared National Artistic/Historic Monument in 1943.Located in the parade ground of square floor plan with three floors with barrel arch roofs.The keep is dated from the XIII century when Priego was a command of the Order of Calatrava.
