Site of the Municipal Archaeological Museum.
The building is currently the site of the Municipal Archaeological Museum. The Palace was part of a fortification which served as accommodation to Jaime II of Aragon, Ramón Berenguer, Pedro IV and the Catholic Monarchs among others. The museum was created by Alejandro Ramos Folqués and houses the archaeological remains found at the site of La Alcudia and the Elche park, some pieces from the Bronze and Copper Ages and from the Roman and Arab eras, together with an exact replica of the Lady of Elche, the original of which is in the National Archaeological Museum.
