This is a charming, unusual garden, typical of the fashion for rockeries that swept through garden art at the end of the 19th century. This garden was designed by Josep Fontseré y Mestres in 1881 as commended by D. Salvador Samá y Torrens. The garden is surrounded by fields of fruit trees and enclosed by high walls. It has some truly surprising elements such as the large lake with three islands, two of which are joined by small rustic bridges and crowned by a small temple. El Pirata Cave, The Waterfall and the Bosque Viewpoint are other romantic elements, but the best known and most outstanding is the large medieval tower set on a mountain rockery with caves inside.
