Many options for children to have fun
Seville offers a whole range of possibilities for children.
The best place for children to have a great time in Seville is, no doubt, Isla Mágica theme park. This theme park, situated in La Cartuja island, takes you back to the times of the discovery of America, with many rides, live performances and multimedia shows in the central lake.
The cultural programme caters for children. In the month of May, the Alameda Municipal Theatre organises the Puppet Festival, as well as plays for children.
The many cinemas that you can find in different parts of the city have morning films and include the latest releases for all the family.
A refreshing option in summer is the Aquópolis Sevilla Guadalpark water park. It is a water park with amazing slides, several pools and other attractions such as go-karting or an animal exhibition. Just outside the capital, in the town of Guillena, you will find Mundo-Park, a site that includes a botanical garden, a zoo and an amusement park.
Spaces dedicated to fauna and nature are prominent in the province of Seville. The main options are Carmona Zoo, an educational park where many species of birds and mammals live; the Trance de Aragón Animal Reserve, in Utrera, which has a wide variety of species from the area and other parts of the world; the Cañada de los Pájaros Private Nature Reserve, in La Puebla del Río; and El Castillo de las Guardas Nature Reserve, with exotic birds that are semi-free.
