The church was built between the 12th and 14th centuries, with elements from the Romanesque and Gothic styles.It has a single, very big nave, with a transept and triple sanctuary. The nave is divided into two portions, the roof is supported on polygonal pillars attached with cylindrical mouldings, topped with capitals decorated with plants, animal, and human themes.The exterior of the church is of regular, stone stalls.The building is surrounded by crenelated towers, of which only the towers of Cuatro Vientos and los Picos are still standing. Around the church extends the town centre of medieval origin.

Guided tour: Sundays at 12:30 pm (all units are visited and includes tasting fried and drink). Meeting point: the church door. Price check: 5 €.
Easter: Theatrical visits from 28 to 31 March at 12:00 and 16:00. Duration 1 hour. Price: 5 € adults, € 2 children under 12 years.
