With its Mediterranean climate and wide boulevards, Barcelona is ideal for strolling. On the Paseo de Grácia avenue you will find luxury shops and buildings such as Gaudí’s famous houses, the Casa Batlló and La Pedrera. Take a stroll through the streets of the Gothic Quarter and you will come upon monuments such as the Cathedral and the Government Palace, as well as charming squares such as Plaza del Rey and Plaza de Sant Jaume. You can also walk to the Ribera district, which is home to one of the most beautiful churches in the city: Santa María del Mar.
Lined with street artists and flower stalls, the famous Ramba will take you down to the sea, passing by places such as the Liceo Theatre, the Boquería Market and the Güell Palace en route. And what could be better than a gentle stroll along the promenade to end a day in Barcelona?
