Museo Arqueológico de Sant Pere de Galligants - Sant Pere de Galligants Archaeological Museum
The museum is housed in a 10th-century Benedictine monastery, a notable example of the Catalonian Romanesque style. The first items to arrive at the museum came from Empúries. The collection subsequently grew to include Roman tombstones and sculptures, plus medieval epigraphy from Girona. Its collections now specialise in prehistory and archaeology. Since 1992 it has been part of the Catalonia Archaeology Museum.
