The present bridge was built on the site of a former bridge, destroyed by floods.Built in the 18th century by Pedro de Ribera. Made up of nine semicircular arches.Built of granite ashlar stone.In the middle of the bridge there are two vaulted niches with the patron saints of Madrid, namely San Isidro and Santa María de la Cabeza. Closed to traffic.
