Declared an Historic-Artistic Monument in 1931.
The church has a Latin cross plan with one nave divided into three sections with a cross vault. Over the Galician cross there is a dome base with four pointed arches and topped with an ogive vault (only visible from the inside). The presbytery has been arranged into two sections, the first with a barrel vault, coinciding with the triumphal arch that leads onto the transept , and the second section, the apse, topped with an oven vault. Of note on the exterior is the Romanesque apse and the main front, altered in the 18th century.
