In Huelva, in the south of Spain, you will be able to sample internationally famous local products such as Iberian ham, white prawns and strawberries. To enjoy the city’s gastronomy, the best thing to do is order the delicious prawns or the popular fried cuttlefish in any of the numerous bars and restaurants in the centre. We recommend that you wash it down with a good fruity wine or a refreshing glass of beer.
And don’t leave Huelva before you’ve tried one of its star products: its Designation of Origin ham. The best way of doing this is to visit one of the nearby places (Aracena or Jabugo) that offer guided tours for those who want to see how the ham is cured, finishing off with a tasting.
