Spain is an international reference for golf enthusiasts. One of the country's most privileged golfing destinations is the Costa Brava (Catalonia). Modern sports complexes offering a full range of services, prestigious hotels, courses designed by worldwide experts, a wide variety of leisure and cultural activities… We can't take the credit for the region's wonderful climate, but we encourage you to come and enjoy it all the same.

If you like golf, then you probably know that the Costa Brava is recognised as one of the world's best golfing destinations. Every year, thousands of players choose the Gerona coast, in Catalonia - northeastern Spain - to perfect their swing, and this figure is on the increase. The Costa Brava incorporates a wide range of additional attractions that sets it apart. Its location is definitely a fundamental asset: on the shores of the Mediterranean, bordered to the north by the Pyrenees. Summing up, this is a privileged area of coast, with sunshine and stunning landscapes where the sea and mountains come together.

Excellent courses await you at Gualta, in Caldes de Malavella, Navata, Lloret de Mar, Puigcerdá, Peralada and Platja d´Aro, amongst others. There are 10 complexes available in total. You can choose between technical courses, ideal for expert golfers looking for a challenge, and easy courses for beginners. There are courses on the flat, set between pine and cork forest, with artificial lakes, or right on the coast.

These golf courses are in places with good road access from cities such as Gerona and Barcelona. Furthermore, in towns such as Palamós, Cadaqués and Roses you can enjoy the authentic flavour of the Costa Brava. Stunning beaches and coves, the chance to enjoy water sports in L'Estartit-Illes Medes or Badia de Palamós-Calonge, shopping centres, interesting cultural visits, excellent gastronomy, happening nightlife… If you are coming to play golf, you are sure to come across a host of other attractions. Come and see for yourself: the Costa Brava is the essence of the Mediterranean.
