Barcelona enjoys a strategic location in southern Europe, and has excellent infrastructures for air, sea and land transport which guarantee rapid access to the city from any Spanish or international destination.Barcelona El Prat Airport is Spain's second largest in terms of passenger volume, with 37 million travellers each year. The city is also connected to major destinations by means of the AVE high-speed train. By road, the A-7 motorway links the Mediterranean motorway with France, and provides access to the tourist destinations of the Costa Brava and other parts of the province of Girona. The A-2 motorway goes to Zaragoza and connects with Madrid and Bilbao.Barcelona Port offers scheduled ferry services to Majorca, Ibiza, Minorca and Italy. It is also a departure and stopping point for many pleasure cruises.

Renfe Spain PassThis pass offers the chance to travel around Spain for all non-residents. This system is very practical, as it can be used on all AVE long-distance and mid-distance high-speed trains.
