By sea

There are several ways to go from Ireland to Spain by boat. The first option is to go from Ireland to England by ferry. Ferries depart from the cities of Plymouth and Portsmouth for Santander (Cantabria) and Bilbao (Basque Country), both in northern Spain. The second option is to go directly from Rosslare to Roscoff or Cherbourg in France, and from there to continue on to Spain by road across the Pyrenees.
