This beach runs along the estuary of Mundaka and lies on the same side of the estuary as Mundaka town. Opposite is the island of Txarramendi, which can be reached on the road BI-3234. It has a small promenade with a lifeguard post, restaurants and a beach bar. Canoeing is the most popular sport here. The sand is fine. It is equipped with showers and a beach snackbar to the back.
