This palace consists of two buildings with three storeys and a facade bearing the crest of the Hevia, Miranda and Lavandera Valdés families. The work of Juan Barjola can be seen on the interior of the new building, and the hall section is used as a venue for temporary exhibitions –mainly sculpture–, and cultural activities of all kinds. Services available to the public also include a press archive specialising in contemporary art.
