The Old Bridge of San Antón stands beside the church of the same name, and forms part of Bilbao’s heraldic crest. The old bridge was built prior to the Foundational Charter of Bilbao (1300), and was rebuilt in 1602. Today's San Antón Bridge dates from the early 20th century.
