The parish church of Santa María la Real was built in the Gothic style in the late 15th century, although it has subsequently undergone several refurbishments. The church is part of the Monumental and Archaeological Site of Santa María la Real, together with the Zarautz Tower.

Useful information
Visits to the bell-tower:
Tuesday-Saturday: 11 am-2 pm and 3:30-6:30 pm.
Sundays, 3.30-6.30pm.
Visits to the parish church:
In summer, Easter week and on special days, the parish church has the same opening hours as the bell tower.
The rest of the year, guided visits are available from Tuesday to Friday at 12:30 pm and 4:30 pm.
