Its origins are mediaeval, although it was thoroughly reformed in the 18th century. The nave is divided into five sections which open onto various chapels. On the main facade there is a stone image which represents the Sacred Heart of Jesus and on the interior it contains valuable works such as the main altarpiece, the frescoes on the vault in the presbytery, several altarpieces and an organ in the Rococo style.
