Procession of Nuestra Señora of the Cabeza in Andújar

Procession in a unique spot of the Sierra Morena.

The Sanctuary of the Virgin of the Cabeza is found on the highest mountain top of Sierra Morena, and to which people flock on the third day of the fiestas, after having congregated in Andújar the previous day, thousands of pilgrims of the region, in typical Andalusian clothes and riding horses of all types; during the night they sing and dance in front of the Sanctuary. On the last day of the fiestas the procession of the image of the Virgin takes place, closing the fiestas, already returning to Andújar, with typical verbenas.
