The parish church of San Juan Bautista in Grañón (LaRioja) is the scene of a theatrical performance which recreates episodes from the town’s history, accompanied by a spectacular sound and light show in which the main altarpiece is illuminated.

The show involves about 80 characters who re-enact various stories of the Pilgrim Route to Santiago as it passes through La Rioja, and featuring episodes such as the feud between the towns of Grañón and Santo Domingo de la Calzada. The stage is illuminated by spectacular lighting effects.
