Description

The amphitheatre stands.

The gladiatorial contests took place on the amphitheatre’s arena.

It was officially opened in 8 B.C. and is located beside the theatre, making use of the slope of the hill of San Albín. There is a cross-shaped moat in the centre of the arena.
