  • Theme: Painting

The house in Malaga where Picasso was born (now a museum) hosts this exhibition, comprising 18 works that cover the artist's three crucial periods.

The exhibition is divided into three sections. The first two focus on pieces related to the development process of two of Picasso's masterpieces: 'Les Demoiselles d'Avignon' and 'Guernica'. The third section looks at the transition between the blue and pink periods. It is also a good chance to assess the great value of the works by Picasso found in the Picasso Foundation's collection. In this regard, there are 84 drawings, 242 prints, 52 illustrated books and 34 ceramic pieces, as well as works by other artists like Bacon and Chillida.
