Description

The Thyssen Museum in Madrid gives us the chance to see a selection of works by the most emblematic of 19th-century English painters.

After shows in Paris and Rome, 50 works from Mexican collector Pérez Simón's private collection – one of the largest of Victorian painting in the world – now come to Spain. Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema, Edward Coley Burne-Jones and Sir Frederic Leighton are some of the famous artists included in this exhibition.

A great chance to see true icons of British art, like 'The Roses of Heliogabalus' by Alma-Tadema and 'The Quartet' by Albert Moore.

Moreover, if you are interested, the Thyssen Museum offers a combined ticket to see both its 'Alma-Tadema and Victorian painting in the Pérez Simón Collection' exhibition and its Permanent Collection.
