Religious art
The exhibition is in the old Episcopal Palace, and displays an important selection of the artistic-historic heritage of the diocese.
The museum comprises three rooms, displaying images and paintings from the 13th-16th centuries, choir books from the 16th century and liturgical adornments from the 17th and 18th centuries. There is also a room dedicated entirely to the Baroque style, with works from the 17th and 18th centuries. The objects you can see include missals from Uclés Monastery and a stunning Easter statue called “La Santa Cena” (The Sacred Supper).
