A gem of modern architecture
Designed by the architect, Puig i Cadafalch, the museum is set in an old modernist factory.
CaixaForum, Cultural and Social Centre for the "La Caixa" Social Programme has become one of the most dynamic and active cultural hot spots in Barcelona. It holds exhibitions of the work of artists as important as Dalí, Rodin, Freud, Turner, Fragonard and Hogarth. Moreover, it has an area permanently dedicated to modernism, as well as an extremely varied event agenda, which includes concerts and conferences, not to mention literary and multimedia events.
