The purpose of this museum is to make geology accessible to everyone through this exhibition of natural treasures, collected by geologists both in the Cordillera Cantábrica mountain range and in other parts of the world. On display are fossils, minerals, rocks, sedimentary and tectonic structures, in addition to a variety of charts and maps. It also has microscopes to observe the samples.
