The history of the Ayalas
This museum, which forms part of a medieval ensemble, reflects the history of the House of Ayala.
The collection is in one of the wings of an old palace. In addition to the extensive documentation, visitors can see pictures, models, precious metalwork and a variety of other objects. Several works of art, zealously preserved for over 600 years in the Convent of San Juan Bautista, are also on display. One of the most noteworthy ones is the Gothic reliquary containing some of the Virgin Mary's hair.
